Snowy ...

... silly Saturday.

Watching the weather today we noticed that they were calling for white-out conditions this afternoon.  The weather in the morning was sunny and pleasant so this came as a shock.  But for once they were right!  

The white-out snow squalls were supposed to start around 2:00 pm and they just about did.  It was actually a little bit before 2:00 that the sky darkened, the wind picked up and the snow started.  The above picture was taken at the start of snow storm.  I've added a Silly Saturday collage as an Extra photo.  It was fun to watch knowing that we didn't have to be out driving in it.  And silly Richard had fun posing for me out in the backyard! 

The snow squalls lasted a little over an hour and an hour after that you wouldn't even have known there was a storm at all.  The sun came back out and most of the snow disappeared.  Crazy!
