twilight zone

By the time I took this photo near the end of my walk, the sun had already set. It has been a showery and a windy kind of day, but it was good to get out for some fresh air.

It was a busy day at the cafe and we had several large groups who had booked tables for coffee and/or lunch (all of them women, I noticed - we very rarely get groups of men, maybe they prefer pubs to cafes, I don't know..).

I did the weekly shop after work, and then home and out for a walk. I didn't even take my coat off, in case I sat down and didn't want to get up again.

Luke, Laura, Otter and Joe all left this morning, so the house is quiet again.
