Life on the Water

A late afternoon/early evening walk today along the towpath of the Kennet and Avon Canal at Bathampton near Bath. Many of the boats moored along this part of the canal are peoples homes. The canal boat community and the cyclists, joggers and walkers who use the towpath for leisure seem to occupy parallel universes. The boats themselves are very diverse and an endless source of interest.
