After the deluge!

We decided to stay at Mum's and make the return journey today. I got up early and went for a walk before we set off. This was the route I'd managed to get through last night but it had obviously flooded later in the evening. This car had been abandoned and apparently the water had been much higher in the night. Glad I hadn't left it any later to set off yesterday.
Later we had a good journey back to my house and felt so sorry for those who had been caught in the floods looking at the pictures on the news.
