Omakau

Jill went cycling this morning with a friend while Frida and I did an hours walk where Frida was on the lead the whole time. She gets quite tired doing that,  she was very well behaved.

Then we packed a lunch and did a road trip to buy greengages, apricots, necatarines from fruit stalls; visited 2 nurseries brought a take out coffee and then ate our lunch in a park.

We then played 9 holes of golf at a wee golf course at Omakau - we were the only ones on it as the Womens 9 hole golfers had just finished. We had a lovely time. My photo is taken from the course looking towards the road- you may spot a couple of cars and a truck.  The Maniototo area is very special- rather like a moonscape.
