Birthday Lunch

Today is Rachel’s birthday and as she was off work for the day, I’d arranged to come over and go for lunch. First of all I went to mum’s to meet a house clearance guy for a quote, and also someone came to collect the washing machine.

I got to Rachel’s at 12.30pm and then we headed into Warrington as we had a table booked at The Botanist. I’ve never been before, and really enjoyed it.

After lunch popped into town before heading back to Rachel’s. I’m staying the night as I’m bringing the girls back to Wales with me tomorrow for the rest of their half term break, and once they’d gone to bed we left Scott on Daddy duties while we went to IKEA. I wanted some wall lights for the guest bedroom which I managed to get, as well as a couple of other things of course :-)

Then it was back to Rachel’s for a birthday drink. It’s been a really lovely day and also a special one as the date is 22022022. I’m not sure how I can be old enough to have daughter that’s 37 though!
