Here we go then..

A very good day today. Weather has been great in this part, whereas on the North coast they've had a covering of snow, and 4 inches in the east yesterday. We've not even had a covering deep enough to leave footprints.

The Scourie Newsletter says we've had 41 mm rain in march, the 30 yr average is 109 mm.

Anyway, went down the croft around 11 to rake and prepare ground for the beans, while G took some eggs to the doctor. She also brought down some early sown beans and peas to plant too. So I raked and pulled out the drills, while she planted and sowed. I was de-weeding and de-stoning at the same time. We did four rows of broad beans variety monica, and left space for another four rows, and then did sugar snap peas, and finally did 4 rows of Carouby de mausanes, an old variety of mange-tout. Got back to the house just before 5..
