Shovels, rakes and brushes

These were all in use as we joined other local residents who got together to clear all the beach pebbles and debris from the promenade back to the beach. Photos taken in both directions... a beautiful calm, sunny morning.... Lots of progress made but it is a 2.5km stretch.... and probably half still to go. It was instigated by the running club.... in the hope of Parkrun on Saturday but will be appreciated by all the many users! Hope my muscles recover before tennis tonight.
