Kirkby Stephen
We needed a trip down to one of our janitorial suppliers to stock up on things for the holiday lodge so we asked The-B-I-L if he fancied a run out with us. I know how much he likes a meal he hasn't made himself so we came in time for lunch.
This is my favourite view of Kirkby Stephen, looking up the steps to the parish church shared by Anglicans and Catholics.
I only took a couple of shots as it was such a bitter, windy day I just wanted to get home after we'd had lunch. I don't think I've ever heard wind as noisy as it was in the huge trees beside the car park. A bit scary as traffic had already been held up this morning due to the roof of a roadside building being damaged.
