Fifty Words
Wearing spikes to take out the recycling was a new experience, but necessary as the driveway was a sheet of ice. Earlier we had a mini ice storm that left the windows covered so we could not see outside. Still, the spikes came in handy for my photo walk.
Every step was crunchy and strong winds buffeted me, but the spikes kept me safe. I found it hard to find a composition, eventually settling for these ice covered rocks. I wonder what word the Eskimo have for this kind of snow, well ice really.
Unfortunately, the image is soft on account of the wind and higher iso, despite my efforts to shield the camera.
