Some water to calm the spirit

We popped down to Deal yesterday to check our flat and how the building works are going. Slowly, slowly, we now have a new floor in the lounge which is a plus. As we were leaving l looked to the sea, l liked the colours and layers. I found it quite calming.

Weather wise: still windy last night, the forecast said there would be sleet all afternoon but that has been revised to just rain this morning. At 10am 6°C, feels like 3.

I am going to spend the day batch cooking for the freezer.
