2615. The view from the balcony…

Well we have arrived after a really great flight from Heathrow and nicely settled into our hotel with a fabulous balcony over looking the city.

The only slight fly in the ointment is that the so called “random” selection of who to get tested at the airport turned out to be every single non-Canadian passenger so we are now self isolating until we get our PCR tests results which could be anything up to three days…there’s no room service and we now have no idea how we are going to eat for the next few days without breaking the rules to go and and buy food….

Mind you the news from Ukraine kind of puts that into perspective and heaven help us all…but particularly the Ukrainian people who don’t deserve this….
