As Predicted

Despite the many warnings there have been recently, I woke this morning to a white world and news of an invasion of the Ukraine by the Russians. It was always going to happen, both the snow and the megalomaniac aspirations of Putin. The difference is, the snow has melted away.

While the morning ran it’s course, I managed to get this blip in the can which is possibly the most energetic thing I have done today. I had plans but they were a moveable feast and were put off to a later date.

It was timely that no sooner had I ordered sock wool on the internet this afternoon than the postie came bearing a present from the northlands of Shetland wool and a glove pattern.My knitting needles will be very busy in the coming weeks.
