Crooked Horn?

An antiques shop in Crewkerne this afternoon; the name made me wonder if the town's name originated as Crooked Horn, or similar.  But apparently not . . . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crewkerne

You can just about see that the little dog has fixed me with a deadly stare; perhaps it thought that I had caught it lifting its leg in the doorway.

Anything to distract me from the utterly ghastly events further east.  If only I had trust in any member of the Government to act with integrity or leadership.
