Turkey Tail

Growing on dead wood in Worlebury Woods, this is my entry for this week's Abstract Thursday challenge, with the optional theme of 'texture'. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.

After a heavy hail shower, and interrupted only by a sleety shower later, it's been a beautiful day, despite a bitterly cold wind. Right 'on the doorstep', the local woods here are going to be providing a lot of blip material, I can tell. Loved the subtle colours as well as the texture of these fungi.
