Sudden storm

A quite sudden and unexpected flurry of hail happened at 15.24 for about 3 minutes - and then the sun came out!  It was extraordinary, and unlucky for Kane and Kelvin (from KJL Roofing) who happened to be on our roof at the time replacing the ridge tile.  Still smiling though (see extra).

A rather more serious storm is happening in the Ukraine who this morning were invaded by Russia.  It's hard to comprehend that it's really happened despite urgent diplomatic talks.  My thoughts are with the Ukrainian people who face a very uncertain future and already I've noticed reports of misleading videos and photographs posted on social media, suggesting this is going to be another situation hideously distorted by clever lies.  And just as we'd hoped the world would become a more accessible place.
