Abstract Thursday - Texture

I've chosen to use a macro of our living room curtains as my textural blip as it two sharply different textures, the closely woven linen of the background and the plush smooth velvet of the flower patterns. Like all velvet material it totally absorbs the light and gives little indication of its textural quality. I also included an extra which shows some Harris Tweed and I was surprised to find that it too has rough and smooth patches
