Despite appearances, today is not yesterday. We see more clearly.

How will this date resonate in our future? Once again there will be European refugees in Europe. After my generation's lifetime (bar a glitch in Kosovo in the 90s) of being deluded by the idea of progress...

How naïve we were.

I firmly believe that anyone who declares war should lead the troops into battle themselves, preferably on foot - most certainly not in a tank or an aeroplane.
