Where To Start

What A Day.
Mrs S became Mrs S Twenty-Five years ago today and I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every moment.

So when we sat down a few weeks ago and decided what we were going to do today to celebrate we compared ‘Bucket Lists’ and decided on Bletchley Park. What a cracking decision.
Mrs S is half Polish and an former WRNS both of whom played vital roles in Bletchley Park and what it achieved, it was important for her to go, me I love history, especially military history.
We arrived at 9:30am and were invited to leave at 4pm as they were closing, we covered every inch but we ran out of time in the last section. It was a brilliant day, interesting, fun, informative, the place really is a hidden gem and I’m struggling in this Blip to do it justice.
We had our anniversary dinner in an Italian restaurant in Woburn, as ‘walk ins’ we were allocated a two place table right next to the toilet door, not a problem though. We never told them it was our anniversary and we had a superb three course meal finished with ‘wobbly’ coffees.

The walk back to the hotel was expected to be our last experience of the ‘Twilight Zone’ but no, bar shut and in darkness, no late night drink, not even a coffee but it didn’t spoil what has been a fantastic day.
