Beers and fun

Not this, obviously. This was first thing this morning when we opened the curtains. Luckily it didn’t stay quite like this for the rest of the day. Overall, there was plenty of weather during the day, and some of it was not too bad. I saw quite a bit of sunshine through the windows. However, it was cold, wet and windy again by the time we walked down to Leith for a quick supper at Cafe Domenico. After supper, we had a bit of time, so walked down the Shore and over the Blue Bridge and back around to Lost in Leith, where we met JH, S and Rufus the dog (see quite entertaining extra). We sat there chatting away and laughing, oh yes we were laughing, until they chucked us out (they have an early closing time of 10pm). It was great to drink good Campervan beer and have a relaxing evening with pals. So, so rare!

Most of the rest of the day was spent in various online meetings and events. Luckily something was cancelled in the afternoon, which gave me a bit of catch-up time and some breathing/thinking space.
