Awake to find that Russia had indeed invaded - at 3am our time. Poor old Ukrainians. The clamp down for them. What worked in 56 in Hungary and 68 in Prague may not in Kiev of course. Unless Putin goes the full Grozny on them, which he’s more than capable of.
What a grim situation. After three years of wall to wall Brexit shit (it’s gone!), two years of bloody covid (it’s gone!), we’ve now got a real live European war!
We’d actually woken to snow on the ground, which is usually newsworthy enough at sea level, but it’s hardly worth commenting upon, or the son’s visit in his duffle coat and waistcoat. Or even that I cooked tea. Still, I see quarter final tickets are on sale.
