Hospital day 5

These days every morning I take a picture of Nigel to send to LDC. It’s his good morning.

What I remember the most of this period of time is the feeling of hopelessness and helplessness. I know I’ve been living here for a while now, but I still am and feel like a foreigner and I don’t know how a lot of things work here. If I had been in my country, I would have known what to do or who to ask for help.

Also, due to covid, no one is allowed to visit LDC in hospital, which makes things difficult for NSLLDC and myself. It makes things hard for LDC as well, because he’s the only one who can talk to nurses and doctors and very often who is unwell is not the best listener.

NSLLDC is working this week and I’m really happy about it because keeping busy will do him a lot of good.
