St. Paul’s

I stopped in here for a few minutes while taking a stroll around the neighbourhood.
I had a physio appointment this morning. Encouraging. He wants me to do some of the exercises every hour. Well, I will try!
Our just-serviced car has a new squeak and shows a new warning light. After some insistence D managed to get an appointment for next week. This led us to talk about the good old days when every petrol station had a mechanic. Of course the cars were simpler then.
I had a good talk with friends Patricia and Caroline yesterday evening. They are members of my French group. Caroline recommended a book by Adam Thorpe, which I have downloaded.
