First coat

About three years ago The Husbando bought me some extremely expensive lights for Christmas which I was going to put up in the bathroom after I had decorated it.  They have lived in their original cardboard box in the bath for all these years.  The bathroom still has not been done….

Back in October we finally had a new front door fitted which is lovely but does make the hall look dark, especially with the dark William Morris wallpaper.  The front of the door is a sage green, the back is white.  

Being half term, I decided to paint the hall and stairs etc white to match the front door and lighten everything up.  Plus putting my lights (which apparently cannot go in a bathroom) up on the top landing.

This is the first coat, trying desperately to cover the blue wallpaper and the original green walls………
