Pruning

It was a beautiful morning, sunny and quite warm. I was enticed into the garden. I at last pruned my roses. They have been on my mind as they just had a minimal trim last year. They are already sprouting enthusiastically and it seems hard to chop off those lovely new shoots. It was so good to be outside, and I even got N out there, raking up leaves.
