More Flowers

We spent the first part of the morning playing go-between, phoning first Dorchester hospital, then Taunton hospital, trying to make sure that Tess’s records got emailed to the right department at Taunton so that they could arrange an appointment for her. 

All the people we dealt with were really helpful and efficient; it was the computerised communication system that seemed a bit cumbersome but once the documents arrived at the right place they arranged an appointment within minutes for first thing Monday. 

We celebrated with a walk in the Spring-like sunshine, though we were both in need of a nap by this afternoon.

Kate brought some flowers over for Tess yesterday and this morning another bouquet arrived in the post from our niece so the house is looking Spring-like as well. What with these and the chocolates Chris brought over on Wednesday, we’re being spoilt.
