Cuppa, Cake and Natter Time!

My turn for a hospital visit in Bath this morning (routine tests), but beforehand time for a cuppa, a cake and a natter with my friend B who had kindly offered to take me to the appointment. Was shocked by the cafe’s bill, shows how long it is since I last ate out in Bath!

A lovely sunny day of 10 degrees, felt quite springlike, I even saw a February butterfly in the garden, as well as bees, but Alcatraz admin kept me indoors this afternoon. Through my latest book set in sunny France, a brief escape from today’s increasingly worrying news...
