Eating for two or three perhaps?

On another sunny afternoon we took a trip up the road to Levisham. Then a circular walk via Dundale Pond. A cool breeze but the sun elevated the temperature.

Spotted this sheep tucking into some hay. Swaledale sheep usually give birth to twins. However they can abort one of the twins in severe weather to ensure the survival of one lamb. No sign of lambs yet but they tend to be later on more exposed landscapes.

Off for a weekend of Orienteering near Sheffield and will catch up with our youngest son Tom tomorrow. Apologies if I don’t comment but will sprinkle stars and hearts when I can.
