Afternoon Postcard

Couldn't focus so took myself off to a coffee shop to work amongst noise and people (much better!). Sis in law came to join me in her lunch hour.

Grateful for normalcy, while my thoughts are with those whose lives have been turned inside out in Ukraine. 

Walking back, I caught this view in the lovely late afternoon light. Makes a change from near dawn or after dark or not at all! It has a kind of postcard feel.

Friend J dropped in and brought dinner for us. The three of us talked at the table for a while. It's hard to switch off from the appalling news.
