Surfers at Tynemouth

The wind we battled against yesterday had dropped nicely by today, and the sun came out so we headed off to the beach this afternoon for granddog Oona to have a lovely time: she absolutely adores going to the beach, and besides having a super time with her ball she met several other friendly dogs which made her day.

I had a great time too, with my camera - the surfers were out in force, so here's a couple of the (far too many) photos I took. I was glad I'd taken my long lenses.
