Impending

This seems to be the week to herald the impending spring: first snowdrops, then pussy willow and today a fine display of crocuses in the park. Having the sun out helped bring them to life.

Also in the park, I spied a Goldcrest combing through a conifer just a few feet away, but could only manage a fleeting photo (extra).
