Broomhill 0-2 Rangers B

Even if you’re not a fan of Scottish football, you may well be aware of the rivalry between the two big Glasgow clubs.

However, you probably don’t know much about Broomhill FC. Formerly BSC Glasgow, (Broomhill Sports Club, Broomhill being an area of the city). They changed their name after a bit of a dispute and as they don’t have a stadium of their own, they play their home games at the Indodrill Stadium in Alloa. Which is about 40 miles east of Glasgow.

They play in the Scottish Lowland League, as do Rangers B (essentially the reserve team), so technically speaking, this was a Glasgow derby.

Just not in Glasgow.
