FRIDAY FOR REAL

It was a crazy day, but my heart sang when I saw these LUPINES at a plant nursery in LA.
I have never had luck growing them, but
love seeing them, especially here on Blip.
They were FOR SALE, but I passed them by.

Instead, I found the gorgeous,
Friendship Sage, SALVIA “Amistad,
with huge dark purple flowers; &
now it will find a new home in my front yard.
The hummingbirds & bees will love it.

I was hoping the planting could start next week, but there is a mysterious accumulation of water near the sidewalk. That needs to be investigated & fixed. Two steps forward & 1 step back.
