Lugano

In between trains, I walked across the road to get a photo from above Lugano before we continued our journey into Italy.

We left work at lunchtime to take the train to Italy (Lanzo d’Intelvi) for the weekend. We’re staying in a lovely ‘agritourisimo’ (bnb in the countryside) near our friends and have been joined by other friends from France. . We were familiar with the train journey up to Lucerne but the trip on to Italy via Schwyz was spectacular, passing lakes and mountains.

A delicious homemade Italian meal this evening. Fabulous to meet up again after the restrictions of Covid. Lots to talk about.
