Vic Church

This morning was very windy and blizzard outside so we didn't leave until gone 1pm when we drove west towards Black Sand Beach at Vik.

The main photograph is of Myrdal Church at Vik taken from the beach, and the the first extra of the 'stacks' taken from the beach. The wind was strong and raining and it wasn't long before the view of them disappeared.

The customary visit to a couple of Skogafoss & Seljalandsfoss waterfalls followed (extras) and not long afterwards it was dark and we headed to a restaurant at Vik for a meal. We got home near midnight having stopped a couple of times to take 'star' photo's. Hard work in the wind! We got home about 11pm and a few headed back out an hour later but I stayed in the warm!
