Has Spring sprung?

Recently emerged Red Admirals & other critters were feasting on the willow blooms growing alongside the footpath back into the village. A beautiful patch of Scarlet Elf Cup sharing a rotten branch with mosses & ferns, a chaffinch singing away overhead. The yellow gorse blossoms against the bright blue sky reminding me of the terrible situation in the Ukraine.
