Resilience

A circular walk fron Glenturret through Crieff, along the river, up wee Laggan Hill and back. It was all about the water, the mud and - especially - the trees. Many magnificent specimens but many torn apart or thrown down by recent storms. It is clear from the exposed rooting branches that other storms and floods over time have required strategies for survival.
