Siskin

Had a lovely sunny walk this afternoon .... just a shame there was still a cold gusty wind at times!

Walked up the road & back ..... saw lots of different birds including Robin, Dunnock, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Blackbird & Wren!

Also saw this bird fairly high in the tree ...... not really sure what species it is ...... our best guess is a female Siskin .... the size was about right!

Any help with an identification would be appreciated!

Climbed up onto the riverbank ..... saw the Police tape across the river at the Country Park where the bones were found .... added an image as an Extra! No more updates so far!
