DIY day

Started the day with 2 more ticks on the 'to do' list, car insurance and tax return..Then started on the 3rd one. That led to 75 minutes on the phone to Nolu in Capetown. Much was done but little achieved but at least she has was more helpful than her rude colleague on Thursday. The photos were for tech support. The TRV says 7 Deg but it's not off and that's the problem.

Then to B&Q. Decided to go via the Wisp, big mistake as it's just so a long detour. Spent a small fortune then got home to discover that, despite the measuring, the handles are too long. It's the design of the doors!  I think I can get what I need at Screwfix which is much closer than B&Q. Ah well you learn. The light switches will have to be changed too. 

A relaxing evening in prospect but still no gardening. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.
