Hellebores

Still in flower here!
It was very sunny but quite cold today. Elvis and I walked with Carmen and Mouse, but it was quite stressful again as C doesn’t like to let Mouse out of her sight, and calls her back all the time. Then we came across a big hunt with gunshots, bugles and barky dogs.
Every week a hunter somewhere in France seems to aim wrongly and shoot an innocent civilian so we take no chances. We doubled back and got away fast, Elvis wears a reflective neon harness, and I wear a rather stylish bright yellow jacket from Costco, so we can easily be seen and don’t look like boar!
Judging by the gunshots, the hunters soon got what they wanted, and by mid morning all was quiet again. I did intend to do some weeding but found indoor things to do instead.
