Shap Wells

Been to a different place to watch the train today, as a cousin rang and said that they were going to Shap Wells Hotel, so we said we'd meet them there, we had a lovely meet up, saw the train. (Hoped to see Red Squirrels, but none about today). Called in the hotel, but they only serve residents, not many places don't serve coffee these days, we continued to Shap to have a meal in the Shap Chippie, they are now only doing carry outs, but third time lucky we did find a lovely little cafe,  Abbey Kitchen further up the street. We would recommend it anyone passing through Shap. We will be back.
