Construction

I caught up with my friend Maycen and we had dinner. I met him at his workplace in the Central Business District, where he’s managing the construction of a block of social housing. The site office is a room of a nursery which has temporarily had to ship out, but which has left lots of children’s paraphernalia. I donned a hard hat and scampered over scaffolding as Maycen showed me the progress on the upper floors. Dozens of families will soon benefit from an upgrade to their current situations. Hurrah to the provision of state services.
