Newcomers

Gorgeous day today, a proper spring feel but still a bit cold. 
My landlord is a cattle breeder, he had 20 new calfs some days ago and they are out for the first time since it's warm enough. It's so nice seeing them skip about on the field outside the house. When proper spring comes and the grass starts growing properly, they will be moved to better grazing on fields nearby. This is their winter ground, where they have shelter and food given to them. It looks a bit mucky just here, close to their shelter but they got twice as much area to walk about on, somehow they prefer keeping close to their shelter and their food supply.
