This morning was cold, -11C and the wind chill was -15 C, so I decided to wait till after lunch to go for a walk. By that time the temperature had risen to -6 C and very little wind chill. The sun does have some warmth to it now, it melted any remaining snow in the driveway.
My landlord works evening shifts, and he must have been in a good mood when he came home last night. He had cleared all the snow from the driveway, including around my car, away from the front of my boarder's car, and he did my front walkway too.
I headed to Shubie Park for my walk this afternoon. There is some open water there where the ducks hang out. I spotted 3 green wing teals with them today, a male and 2 females.
