Great horned owl

I was lucky to have a pair of great horned owls sharing my campsite. They roosted in an oak tree right behind where I pitched my tent. I guess it is their space, really, but they happily share with campers. Less welcome were a pair of ravens alighting atop one of the large rocks that the owls obviously considered their lookout spot. The ravens were quickly chased off.
