Vintage
I acquired this pot in England, in the late 1960s or early 1970s. it was paid for in part by shopping stamps which you collected as you bought your groceries. It comes from the ‘Countryside Collection’ of enamelled cookware made by JMP in Spain. You could buy one now, classified as ‘vintage’, for about $30 on eBay.
My vintage pot has reached the end of its useful life. It is dented and chipped and somewhere along the way it lost its knob. So it is going out in the Council Cleanup next week. It will be left on the kerb with other rubbish to wait for the garbage truck. Probably it won’t get that far, because the scrap metal fossickers will come by and pick up anything they can sell.
