Spring?
Do I dare say it? It's been almost spring like today. The sun has shined. And we didn't need coats. Wow!
We've had a good day. This morning started off a little shakey - tantrums, breakages, tantrums, more breakages, and a flakey ebayer emailing me. But once the parcels had been posted, and the jobs ticked off we set off with a car picnic to the zoo.
I say we went to the zoo, we mainly went to the playgrounds that just happened to be situated between the animals. BUT the mini pinks had a good time. The Lion was sat very proudly on his rock, the penguins were very inquisitive, and the elephants turned round for a photo opportunity on que. We had icecreams in the sunshine. And best of all, we fed the giraffe. This is a first, as we usually feed the elephants, but we made the right queue at the right time and all got to give the giraffe some white cabbage. That was rather special.
Oh and a conversation this morning while brushing teeth:
Master Pink: "mummy, can we have another baby?"
Me: why? probably not. Babies cost lots of money.
Master Pink: " you don't pay for babies mummy, God puts them there."
Continuing the conversation Miss Pink insisted that she needed a sister. Master Pink said, "no, I've got one of those, I'd like a brother."
I said they'd better speak to Daddy!!
