Super Sunny Sunday

Lots of households stuff done today. Beds changed, supermarket delivery etc.
Then after lunch I got out in the garden for 2 hours. I am in the process of converting two huge barrel ponds at the front to alpine scree gardens. At the end of last year they were emptied and several base layers put in, drainage, older soil etc. Now that has settled, I’ve added a wheelbarrow full of top soil and compost mix today.
The next stage is to go and find some good bits of scree for the structure. I’m hoping the rockery centre just up the road from me will have some.
Then I’ve just been round the field for the evening dog walk which was lovely just as dusk was setting in.
