Waiting for opening hour.
A proper spring like day. Fed the birds and could feel the warmth of the sun. Went up the garden to see the crocuses and there was a bee ! Two bees ! Fetched my camera, put it to the right settings to catch them in flight and found the dratted thing wouldn't focus. Checked everything. Tried manual focusing with limited success but clicked away nonetheless. Finally went indoors and changed the macro for a zoom. More photos taken some of which were definitely OK so went back inside and investigated the recalcitrant macro. Cleaned all the connections and Bingo ! Back outside to take yet more photos. I won't tell you how many I ended up with but I was thankful a lot were useless and could be deleted. Still there were plenty left and it took a long time to narrow down my choices. The first bees in the garden always excite me and now I'll be on the lookout for the first bumble bee, In between times I put away yesterday's laundry, set clothes to wash, did a little bit of weeding, booked a slot at the recycling and made plans for the coming week. Did quite a lot of puzzles and got Quardle out for the first time. Now that's something I never thought that would happen.
