Chocks Away!

When the elephant in the room upstairs finally went to sleep last night, we managed a decent(ish) sleep.
Seriously, what do some people do in hotel rooms??!!

We hadn’t paid for breakfast, so instead had a bit of a lie in then googled somewhere independent for food.

What we found was a place called ‘Chocks away diner’, just a few miles down the road in Broughton, on the airfield.
It was a great find and after a really tasty breakfast, we had a wander round to look at the old aircraft that were dotted about.

Broughton shopping mall helped us to kill a bit more time until we met up with the family for Sunday lunch at We Three Loggerheads in Mold.

I was glad I’d had a good breakfast, as the food wasn’t great (I remembered the same from the last time we were there). We’ve said we will swerve any future family meals there.

We are now back home, unpacked and brew in hand, ready for the new (& final) series of Peaky Blinders :-)
